Tamiflu is supposed to be taken during the first 48 hours from the moment you notice flu symptoms. Take Tamiflu as recommended by your doctor. If your stomach gets easily upset you can take this medicine with some food. If you happened to miss a dose you can take it as soon as you remember. However, if it’s less than 2 hours until you have to take the next dose you can skip the dose you missed. Taking a double dose of this medicine will not improve your symptoms or make Tamiflu more efficient if compared to the usual dose. Make sure you do not combine this treatment with other drugs that may cause interactions.
